Swimming
A state of the art aquatic center was just completed in Manchester in 1998. The aquatic center features a zero-depth entry with a diving board, drop slide, tube slide, flume slide, spray features, lily pad walk, sand playground, sand volleyball court and concession stand. It is located next to Tirrill Park at 200 Stearns Drive in Manchester. To reach the aquatic center just phone 563-927-6488.

The aquatic center provides the following programs and services: American Red Cross - Learn to Swim Program, private swim lessons Manchester Swim Team through the Manchester Swim Team Association Water Aerobics Pool Parties

There are eight additional swimming pools located in the communities throughout Delaware County.

Bowling
Lightning Lanes, 1110 E Main Street, Manchester 563 927-5939.
Enjoy bowling on 12 lanes, 7 days a week. Also available are darts, pool and video games. Refreshments and sandwiches are available.

Archery
An archery and rifle range are located north of Manchester on Firefly Road one-fourth mile west of highway 13. Practice ranges for archery and rifle with target bunkers are available. A lodge with a capacity of 200 is available by reservation. Phone 563 927-4531.

The Openning ceremony of the Edgewood RodeoRodeo
Enjoy Edgewood's PRCA sanctioned rodeo and sheep rodeo the last weekend in June. Phone 563 928-7036 for dates and times, or check out the Edgewood web site at www.edgewoodia.com for information on the event.

Tennis
There are 15 public tennis courts located within the county. Just visit' the community section of this web site to find the number and contact person at each city to find a court nearest you.

Movie Theater
Movie lovers throughout Delaware County can take in a show at the Castle Theatre on Main Street in downtown Manchester. Built in 1935, this beautifully constructed building continues to please audiences of all ages with evening shows and matinees. Get a free 46 ounce bag of popcorn with paid admission every Wednesday night.
